Excellent news as Geo Therm Ltd receives confirmation from the Valaris management for our first inspection on the Singaporean Keppel Fels built Valaris Ju-292 rig, aka the Valaris-Rowan-Norway.
The Ju-292 Rowan Norway is a KFELS N-Class jack-up rig designed for working in harsh environments, this offshore energy drilling rig combines state-of-the-art dual capabilities of performing drilling and production activities in a safe and efficient manner.
The electrical inspection will cover rig-wide systems, to support the preventative maintenance program, using Geo Therm Ltds renown thermal imaging inspection services. The use of thermal imaging is predominately used to identify potential failure points in a non-invasive, safe means to prevent breakdowns.
The Valaris Rowan-Norway is currently working for Harbour Energy in the Southern Sector of the North Sea. Geo Therm Ltd are expected to be mobilised from Norwich, with the Thermographic Survey taking one week to complete with a proposed start date in mid June.
