We are delighted that management on the Valaris 123 jack-up rig has confirmed its annual IRT survey will be completed by Geo Therm Ltd, with a start date in late April 2024 to coincide with the rigs next campaign for Ithaca Energy in the UKCS.
The rig contract is expected to commence in mid/late-April with an estimated duration of between 45 and 72 days, with Geo Therm Ltds survey penned during the early stages of the contract taking no longer than one week, and performed at the top hole section when loads are most suitable for thermal scanning.
This 2019-built Valaris 123 Keppel FELS, ultra-enhanced super ‘A’ class jack-up rig has a maximum drilling depth of 40,000 ft and can accommodate 145 people. This heavy duty harsh environment jack-up has an IMO number: 9721396.
