Geo Therm Ltd are delighted to received notification from the Valaris management to plan for the forthcoming annual electrical biased Thermographic Survey inspection PM aboard its Ju292 (Norway) jack-up rig.

The Valaris Ju292 rig is an ultra-harsh environment, heavy-duty jack-up drilling rig. Built in 2011 by Keppel FELS. This KFELS N-Class rig is designed to operate in the severe weather conditions of the North Sea and is frequently used by major operators for demanding exploration, production, and plug-and-abandonment (P&A) operations.

The Geo Therm Ltd rig visit is penned to begin in the 3Q of 2026 during its next workover phase with the week-long inspection scanning rig-wide electrical distribution systems and main switchboards, (inlcuding engine exhust systems) under high loading to support its PM requirement using a FLIR thermal imaging camera.
