The electrical biased thermal imaging at the huge Lowestoft XPO Logistics site gets completed this week. The site stores food stuffs for the East Anglia region in six huge temperature controlled stores, while shift workers process peas harvested within a 2 hour drive of the cold store facility.
The thermographic survey is performed annually during the busy pea harvest season when site equipment is under greatest load, with identified thermal anomalies being passed on to the maintenance teams for repair, to ensure uptime is achieved without service interruption.
