Geo Therm Blog

Geo Therm Ltd MD Tony Dale and employee Simeon Lee two former pupils of Lowestoft College were invited back to the college on the 24th February by Dr. Adrian Durrant to extol the virtues of thermal imaging and ultrasound condition monitoring as part of the problem solving tools and techniques activity for first year undergraduate students studying the renown Operations Engineering degree at Lowestoft College.

Involving a power-point presentation, several hands-on demonstrations, question and answer session using the FLIR T440 thermal imaging camera and EA Systems Ultrasound 15000 probe on the Peltom turbine demonstration rig; this one hour thirty minute class flew by. We all enjoyed ourselves and greatly appreciated the diligence and inquisitive nature of the students we chatted with.

We would like to thank Lowestoft College and the engineerng students for the opportunity to showcase Geo Therm Ltd’s technical abilities and strongly encourage those students who are interested in our condition monitoring technology to follow our social network sites and regularly look at our website blog section for career opportunities.
