Management on the Valaris Ju-72 jack-up rig has confirmed Geo Therm Ltd to complete its annual thermographic survey inspection, with our offshore services penned to start in early September. The rig has an IMO number: 8750338 and is currently undergoing planned maintenance, before resuming works in the Southern North Sea – Block 48/29 for ENI on plug and abandonment work.
The Thermographic Survey on the Valaris Ju-72 is used to monitor for the early signs of heat generation in critical equipment, to locate and identify those heat affected electrical components (under high loading) to prevent their failure, and likelihood of rig outages.
