Geo Therm Ltd are delighted to confirm additional work on the newest Valaris jack-up rig the JU-123.  The scope of work planned for late November is to complete the rigs first Thermographic (IRT) Survey to cover the EY11 PM before the rig visits Dundee, Scotland during Dec/Jan.

The thermographic survey is used to identify extreme temperatures in energised electrical systems, to prevent outages that could hinder critical rig operations, the IRT survey is ideally timed to resolve any issues found during its planned Dundee shipyard visit.

The Valaris JU-123 is a three legged MODU and the fourth 120 series purposely designed for harsh environments, it was built by Keppel Fells in Singapore and delivered earlier this year, it has an ABS Classification and IMO number 9721396.  The rig is currently working for Primier Oil in the UK sector of the North Sea.
