Geo Therm Ltd management are delighted to provide our offshore inspection services to the Valaris semi-submersible rig of the quarter – the Valaris 5004 (ENSCO 5004). Our service provision, to provide a thermal imaging (thermographic) inspection during its current location off the Libyan coast, while working for the Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V.
The electrical and engine exhaust Thermographic Survey workscope is to begin in early November and expected to take no longer than a week to complete, with mobilsation occuring via Malta. The Valaris 5004 rig is a Series 9500 Enhanced Pacesetter design, and most suited for mid-water operations. The 5004 rig has an IMO #8751033.
