Geo Therm Ltd have been given the green light to begin its Jotun Paints 3-year contract agreement, starting at the companys Bangladesh factory, with a starting time frame in early Q3 2026. The Jotun Bangladesh Ltd is a subsidiary of the Jotun Norwegian multinational paint company. The state-of-the-art facility serves as Jotun’s 41st global manufacturing plant, situated at Plot No. 08 within the Meghna Industrial Economic Zone Limited in Sonargaon, Narayanganj.
The facility is built with modern automation and safety protocols, utilizing preventive maintenance frameworks, including Geo Therm Ltd’s reknown thermography, electrical and PAT testing services to optimize production uptime and prevent workplace incidents. The upcoming Geo Therm Ltd visit is expected to take one week to complete the 3 service inspections and an additional day covering its warehouse north of Dhaka. The manufactured coatings supply the highly specialized marine, protective, and decorative coatings to the domestic and regional Indian and southeast Asian markets.
