The management aboard the offshore drilling rig the Valaris 123 has confirmed Geo Therm Ltd is to perform its annual Thermographic (IRT) Survey, with the scope of works penned for late August 2025.
The Keppel Fels 2019-built Valaris Ju123 ultra-enhanced super ‘A’ class jack-up rig has a maximum drilling depth of 40,000 ft and can accommodate 145 people. This heavy duty harsh environment jack-up has an IMO number: 9721396.
The Thermographic Survey is part of the rigs comprehensive maintenance program, used to locate and address excessive heat anomalies within its electrical systems, to prevent system outages.
