Geo Therm Ltd are pleased to inform you of the most recent Thermographic Survey was completed on the newest jack-up rig in the Ensco offshore drilling fleet. Ensco rig management opting to use our reliable tried and tested surveys on the formidable ultra-premium, harsh environment jack-up rig the Ensco 122.

At the time of the Thermographic Survey the rig was drilling off Den Helder at the K14 platform complex, in the Dutch Sector of the North Sea for Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij B.V. (NAM), an oil and gas explorer and producer focused in The Netherlands.

The Ensco 122 is an enhanced version of Keppel’s proprietary KFELS Super A Class design; with a IMO number: #8771629 and designed to drill to depths of 40,000 feet for the most demanding large multi-well platform programmes, ultra-deep gas programmes and ultra-long reach wells.

Geo Therm Ltd surveyors successfully completed the thermographic survey within the allotted time frame and with grateful assistance from the rig electrical team, condition monitoring high voltage and distribution equipment during drilling activity, to detect adverse temperatures that could lead to electrical outage and downtime.
