Offshore, Thermal Imaging

As taken from the news section in Construction.co.uk

Geo Therm Ltd strikes black-gold in late August, with the simultaneous electrical biased thermographic surveys on the offshore jack-up rigs the E100 and E49 owned by Valaris Plc – the world’s largest offshore drilling contractor.

Possessing 82 rigs, including 54 offshore jack-up rigs, 16 drill-ships, and 12 semi-submersible platform drilling rigs, the Valaris name means strength, courage and signifying something of value.

Both the E100 and E49 rigs are working in the North Sea for Repsol-Sinopec and Chrysaor respectively – two of the UK’s leading independent E&P companies.

Geo Therm Ltd offshore inspection services are geared toward supporting the Valaris rigs electrical preventative maintenance programmes, no matter which of the six continents Valaris operates in, with inspections tailored to pin-point electrical high-resistance deficiencies to prevent power outages.
