Geo Therm Ltd are delighted to confirm the annual IRT survey on board the Valaris Ju122 rig is to commence during the 4th Qtr of 2024, with a likely start date in mid October/early November pending drilling operations.
This electrical biased survey covers the Ju122 annual PM requirement to locate equipment high resistance issues early enough to mitigate outages and service disruption. The offshore survey is expected to last one week.
The Valaris Ju122 is a three legged super “A” class rig, designed to drill in harsh environments. The rig has an International Maritime Organisation (IMO) number: 8771629 and ABS Class: ABS-A1-MODU and can operate in waters to 450ft deep and drill down to depths of 35,000ft.
