We are delighted to confirm the XPO Logistics corporation with facilities in over 32 countries has awarded Geo Therm Ltd with its annual Thermographic (IRT) inspection at its most easterly located UK cold store and distribution facility in Lowestoft.
The Geo Therm Ltd IRT inspection is penned to start in early July and will cover electrical systems and insulation integrity adjacent all rollar shutter doors and emergency exits, using the latest FLIR Infrared camera. The thermal IRT inspection is used to identify electrical high-resistance hot-spots to prevent unwarrented outages, and cold-areas for the presence of deteriorating insulation and leaking seals for repair to limit energy losses.
