Geo Therm Ltd survey team prepares for their first visit to Bangladesh. The week long visit will support the Jotun Bangladesh Ltds maintenance team with their PM regime, using thermography, PAT testing and electrical inspections, designed to address equipment safety while prevent breakdowns and lost time incidents at its newest facility.
Jotun is famous for making fire retardant paint for ships, and has a presence in more than 100 countries, with 65 companies and 40 production facilities on six continents, with Bangladesh being its 41st. The facility was opened in August 2022.
The new $7.6M Jotun paints facility has a total area of 8984 square metres with 4400 square metres of built-up area, comprising production area, offices, and a separate section dedicated for warehousing.
