The adventures continue with a small team from Geo Therm Ltd take flight to Egypt to carry out another inspection for Jotun Paints at their Ismailia paint factory, (approx. 120km north-east of Cairo, on the west bank of the Suez Canal.

With more than 700,000 inhabitants, Ismailia is the capital of a governorate that holds the same name.  The city is considered to be among the most charming in Egypt, with a large number of gardens, clean well organized streets and in part having an European air partly due to the vestigaes of the past canal construction and colonial era buildings.

The Jotun IRT survey begins in early March and is expected to last no more than one week. Jotun Paints Egypt was established in 1986, and is Egypt’s market leader for Decorative, Marine & Protective coatings. The Ismailia factory is one of two production plants in Egypt, with a new second factory opening this year in the 10th of Ramadan City – that will be the biggest Jotun factory in the Middle East.

The Jotun Group has 33 production facilities worldwide with products available in more than 90 countries, employing more than 9800 people. Geo Therm Ltd was awarded the Middle Eastern inspection contract in 2017.
